Golden Wall Lamp in Empire Style Solid Bronze, Five Lights, by Lucien Gau

Reference: 16060107

Swans with lights, old gold and green Empire wall lamp

Product Description

This solid bronze Empire wall sconce is sumptuous, with an elaborate decoration enhanced by its antique gold and green Empire finish. Its five lights are carried by beautifully carved triumphant swans. Their open, slightly curved wings, the posture of their necks and the position of their heads give them a conquering and triumphant air, in keeping with the sense of national pride and warlike enthusiasm of the time. Their plumage is enhanced by the antique gold finish, while the green lacquered empire of the lamp stand and the bobeches reinforce the spirit of the early 19th century style. The quality of the finish of this wall lamp is exceptional. It is the result of the skill of Lucien Gau's craftsmen, who have been developing and passing on their know-how for more than six generations. The quality of the materials used is also outstanding. It is also the purity of the bronze used that makes it possible to achieve this extreme precision in the decoration. In the same spirit, there is a wall lamp with two lights, see reference 16060108, and a chandelier with seven lights, see reference 16060106.
