Dutch style brass chandelier thirty lights
Rounded branches, patinated brass branches, base in globe, Dutch style - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
Majestic, this large brass chandelier with slender branches and thirty lights has perfectly balanced proportions. Its patinated brass finish is absolutely impeccable and a strict adherence to the rules of the Dutch style (late sixteenth century). The arms, of great finesse, take the form of a double volute and are mounted on a key. The sleeves are supported by fine bobeches and a basin (the cup originally used to collect the melted wax) of refined form. The lower part of the chandelier (or base) is in the form of a large metal sphere, which contributes to the remarkable visual balance of this chandelier. It is entirely handcrafted, the brass being shaped, patinated and finished by hand. There is a matching chandelier with 12 lights under the reference 12020108. Equipped with thirty lights, this chandelier is able to illuminate very large volumes, in private or professional use. Coordinated chandeliers exist under the references 12020103, 12020106 and 12020102. A twelve-light coordinated chandelier is available under reference 12020107.
