This wall lamp in the Directoire style, made of solid bronze, has at its centre the arrow, symbol of the will and the expansion of the individual, dear to the spirit of the revolution whose style Directoire echoes. Beautifully crafted, its bright gold finish gives it strength and brilliance. Two busts of women wearing the Frigian cap, another revolutionary symbol, adorn this sconce. They carry the basins and the bobeches and, of course, the two lights, another symbol. The execution of this sconce is remarkable. The quality of its decoration is exceptional. It was made possible by the know-how of Lucien Gau's craftsmen, who have been passing on their knowledge for six generations. Exceptional quality that has allowed this company to become a French Living Heritage company.
