his double wall-mounted, solid bronze, Empire-style desk is surprisingly pure in its flared form, accentuated by the green Empire patina and the bright gold finish of its gilded elements. On either side of its central element, it has two gilded arms with sculpted decorative elements, green lacquered bobeches surmounted by flared bowls. The base of the lamp ends with an inverted pine tree, which reacts to the golden flame that surrounds it. Everything is of great beauty and refinement. The exceptional quality of this work is made possible by the expertise of the craftsmen of the Maison Lucien Gau, bronzier d'art since 1860.
