Product Description
Finesse and extravagance are the hallmarks of this Empire double wall sconce in solid bronze. The wall bracket is made up of a palm leaf decoration surrounded by a green lacquered metal ring that supports the two arms that carry the candles. Its perfectly symmetrical design allows the Maison Lucien Gau craftsmen to exploit the flexibility of their bronze to create a decoration that is as delicate as it is perfect. The metal is cast in a sand mould which, by its very nature, is used only once to ensure the precision of the decoration. This is how the flippers and the arms that carry the lights are made. This is followed by the purely manual work of assembling, chiseling, painting and finishing.
