The design of this Louis XVI style lamp in solid bronze with an adjustable glass shade is quite original. The gilded finish of its bronze gives all its relief to the grooves of its body and its foot. The decoration is lightened in favour of simplicity. The different parts of this lamp are moulded with sand, which gives its decoration an extreme precision. The assembly and finishing are entirely handcrafted in France in the workshops of the Maison Lucien Gau, which has been passing on the know-how of its ancestors for six generations.
