Louis XVI lamp in gilded bronze with white lampshade lined with stripes and pompoms
Louis XVI lamp bronze finish old gold, fluted body - Lucien Gau - Table lamps
Lamp in Louis XVI style made of solid bronze in the best alloy, surmounted by a white lampshade with trimmed edges and finished with a series of tassels in alternating white-beige and gold colours. The antique gold finish of the bronze highlights the grooves of its body and the delicate work of the leaves on its base. Fine pearl chains separate the different parts of the lamp's body. The base is worked in three concentric levels, two polished circles are set with pearls and the upper part takes up the theme of acanthus leaves, so dear to the Louis XVI style. The light diffused by this lamp is soft. The decoration of this lamp is extremely neat and precise. It is the result of the exceptional know-how of craftsmen with ancient knowledge and respect for traditions initiated by the house Lucien Gau, official supplier of the French historical monuments.
