Product Description
This charming Louis XVI style lamp in solid bronze is characterised by its double sculpted, close-fitting and symmetrical wall light and its ivory oval lampshade edged with a fine gold braid. Two elegantly curved arms with candles protrude from the pearl base, which is surmounted by an ornament of sculpted leaves. The finesse of the flat bowls enhances the work of the bobeches. A central bar protrudes from the shade, revealing a remarkable decorative detail. The quality of workmanship on this lamp is exceptional. Moulded in sand, assembled and decorated entirely by hand, in France, by the craftsmen of the Lucien Gau workshop, who have centuries of experience.
