The oval lampshade of this Empire style lamp is made of solid bronze with an old gold patina, perhaps lacquered in green or burgundy on request. From its base, hollowed and delicately hemmed, rises a beautifully sculpted foot that continues, fluttering beautifully, to end in an identically sculpted element from which the two slender arms with lights emerge. Their delicately hemmed pools recall the ornamentation of the base. Its drawing is delicate, its execution perfect. It is the fruit of the work of the craftsmen of the Maison Lucien Gau, suppliers and castles and monuments of France.
