Magnificent, this solid bronze Empire style lamp has a very elaborate decoration featuring the symbols of the period: lion's feet, obelisk shape, acanthus leaves, highlighted and embossed with an antique gold finish, also carved. The white lampshade, finely pleated and finished at both ends with two large rows of gold friezes, accentuates its precious and solemn aspect. Its balance is perfect. The quality of its decorations and finishes is exceptional. It is the fruit of the centuries-old know-how of the craftsmen of the Maison Lucien Gau, official supplier to the historic castles and monuments of France and to the greatest palaces in the world.
