The pure form of this massive floor lamp in the Louis XVI style is due to the perfect balance of its design. Its fluted base, finished in old gold, is divided in two by a decorative element, an ornamental ring on either side of short symmetrical leaves. The base and the light-receiving bowl also respond to this impression of perfect symmetry. Its indirect lighting can be powerful, it is provided by a bar halogen with a recommended power of 500W. The quality of its finish is exceptional. It is made by the artisans of Lucien Gau, supplier of French historic castles and monuments as well as the most beautiful hotels in the world. The bronze used in its manufacture is the best alloy and allows a detailed work of its decoration.
