This magnificent Louis XVI chandelier in solid bronze is very original. Equipped with twenty lights, patinated in old gold, it is built on several levels, which gives it a particular originality. This originality is enhanced by the fact that its branches are based on two different inspirations in the purest Louis XVI style. On the one hand, a true geometric inspiration with reference to ancient models and, on the other hand, a reminder of this privileged relationship with nature through the placement of leaves on the scrolls. This alternation and contrast between curves and angles gives it strength and personality. The quality of this chandelier is exceptional. The bronze is cast in a sand mould, the unique use of which guarantees the accuracy of the decorations. It is entirely hand-finished, assembled and decorated. Admire also the chain and the central body, the fruit of a work as meticulous as it is sought, taking again the classical elements peculiar to the Louis XVI style: links with almost geometric forms, central body sporting draperies, festoons and classical motifs. The billiards are all identical, bulging and worked in the shape of cups, which, to respect the style, are widened to reveal candles with flames. With a chain height of 100cm and a diameter of 95cm, this chandelier requires a beautiful room to express all its qualities and a ceiling height of over 3 metres. The length of the chain can be adjusted during installation.
