This elegant Louis XVI style gilded bronze chandelier has six scrolled arms ending in candlesticks. Made of solid bronze with an antique gold patina, it is composed of a central part supporting the arms and a beautiful upper part decorated with ascending acanthus leaves and superimposed circles with different finishes: polished, glossy or fine vertical rods closed by claws with a geometric design. Each bobeche supporting the candlestick is canelé and finely inlaid with small pearls. At the lower end of the chain is a bud surmounted by leaves. Note that the links of the chain are also worked, alternating flat and round links to end in a beautiful cabochon covered with acanthus leaves.
