Louis XVI chandelier in gilded bronze, eight lights
Louis XVI chandelier in solid bronze, patinated old gold double scroll arm - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
With its eight lights at the end of double scrolls, this golden chandelier in the Louis XVI style, made of solid bronze with an antique gold patina, is a perfect balance. This chandelier is made by casting bronze in a unique sand mould, which guarantees the finesse and precision of the decorations. The alternation of polished and brilliant parts enhances the contrasts created by the antique gold finish. The base is decorated with a succession of brilliant, pearled and matt contours. Eight double spiral arms, decorated with leaves and ending in antique-inspired square rings, support fluted and conical spools. The top of the chandelier is also remarkable. It is a semi-oval covered with ascending leaves ending in several circles with different reliefs and patinas, attached to a chain with links also worked. The bottom of the chandelier is also very neat with a decoration of leaves and buds coming to finish this jewel. Its reasonable proportions make it a sublime object that can be placed in many interiors as long as the ceiling height is at least three metres. This chandelier is also available in larger sizes and can be seen under the reference 16060026 for the twelve-light model, under the reference 16060027 for the twenty-light model and under the reference 16060037 for the six-light model.
