Art Nouveau table lamp in gold, by Lucien Gau

A charming little table lamp in a delicious Art Nouveau style, made in bronze with an old gold finish and pink pâte de verre (the collection isalso available in white). The lamp has a round brass base and swan-neck foot with a plant motif that covers the base and wraps around the arm, in real bronze with a gilded finish and a beautiful patina that gives the model an authentic, romantic touch. The arm is extended by a delicate bell-shaped flower with wavy edges in pink pâte de verre. The collection perfectly embodies the romantic, overgrown aesthetics of the Art Nouveau style, which can be found, for example, on some of the historic arcades of the Paris metro.

As the heir to a Parisian bronzier family that has been in business since the 19th century, year after year Lucien Gau demonstrates his exceptional craftsmanship, built up and handed down from generation to generation, both in the restoration and conservation of luminaires and in the reproduction of luminaires using techniques faithful to the period in which they originated.
