Product Description
A beautiful 6-light chandelier from the Romantique Art Nouveau collection, with a plant motif in gilded bronze and elements in gorgeous pink pâte de verre (the collection is alsor available in white). The model consists of a central stem in a white pâte de verre bowl decorated with a small gilded seed representing a bud, which houses 3 of the chandelier's 6 bulbs. The high rim of the dome is made of pink pleated fabric, surrounded by two brass rings and adorned with magnificent vegetal decorations of vine leaves and bunches of grapes in real bronze with an aged gold finish to give the chandelier an authentic patina. The stem is attached to a brass rod to which three swan-necked arms are attached. Each arm is topped by a delicate bell-shaped flower in white glass paste with wavy edges. Note the exquisite plant decoration of vine leaves and grapes, finely chased in real bronze, which is also found on the ceiling support, and the antique gold patina finish, which gives the model an authentic touch.
As the heir to a Parisian bronze workshop that has been in business since the 19th century, Lucien Gau demonstrates year after year the exceptional craftsmanship that has been built up and handed down from generation to generation by restoring, preserving and reproducing lamps using techniques that are faithful to the period in which they were created.
The collection also includes a table lamp with the reference 22050074, a 2-light wall lamp with the reference 22050075, a pendant lamp with the reference 22050076 and a ceiling lamp with the reference 22050077. Dimensions: 90cm high, 82cm diameter.
The light source is provided by 6 E14 halogen or LED bulbs, to be purchased separately.
