Product Description
Beautiful and rare, this Louis XVI style mirror in solid gilded bronze has an oval mirror set with pearls as its central element. It is surmounted by a knot to which the old gold finish gives relief, shadow and light. Its lower part ends in a sculpted leaf element that could be used as a handle. Illuminated by two lights supported by two spiral arms, it gives a beautiful impression of symmetry. The candlesticks are based on flared bobeches, also in carved leaves, which echo the design of the mirror's base. The fine pearl necklace that surrounds them also recalls the mirror with great grace and delicacy. The production of a remarkable quality is carried out according to the most traditional methods, in France, in the workshops of the house Lucien Gau.
