Louis XV bronze chandelier eight lights
Classic chandelier in solid bronze, decorated with acanthus leaf motifs, old gold patina, keys, leaf bobeches - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
This Louis XV eight-light solid bronze balance is composed of eight arms decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and connected to the lower central part (or base) by keys. It is extended upwards by a central element in the form of an amphora, decorated in the same way and connected to the fixing ring by a very elegant ornament in the form of flared leaves. This is reminiscent of the shape of the bowls that decorate the base of each candleholder. The whole, refined and distinguished, has a very nice balance of forms. Note the work on the links of the chain. The work is done entirely by hand, using the most traditional methods. The solid bronze is melted in a sand mould. The finishing, assembly and application of the old gold patina are carried out in the manufacturer's workshops in France. There are two similar chandeliers: five lights under the reference 12020271 and six lights under the reference 12020276. A matching wall sconce with two or one lights is also available under reference 12020273.
Dimensions: height with chain 95cm, without chain 60cm, diameter 63cm.
Light source: eight standard E14 small screw bulbs, preferably flame-shaped.
