Golden lantern Louis XVI style solid bronze and glass
Three-light lantern with contrasting decor - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
A contrasting decoration characterises this beautiful lantern with three lights. The body of this lantern, made of solid bronze of the finest alloy, is decorated in the classic Louis XVI style, with bronze circles and uprights with streaks of light. The exceptional quality of the bent glass, also hand-crafted, gives it an exceptional transparency, perfectly reflecting the brightness of the lights. This apparent sobriety is accentuated by the exquisitely crafted corolla-shaped bowls and the upper part of the lantern. Curved acanthus leaves hang from the central stem, which supports the lamp and the ring that secures the chain. The rectangular links are also made up of leaves that meet and cover the cabochon that camouflages the link.
Dimensions: height with chain: 78 cm, height without chain: 55 cm, diameter: 21 cm
Light source: three E14 standard bulbs, preferably frosted flame type.
