Empire style chandelier in the shape of a flared and lacquered basin, three lights
Solid bronze chandelier, triumphant swans bearing lights, very worked links - Lucien Gau - Chandeliers
Brilliance in the spirit of Empire ornamentation, accentuated by the gleaming gold finish and green lacquer of this solid bronze chandelier, with a moulded bowl decorated with three lights. Here the lights are carried by triumphant swans. The lighting is direct and indirect, with a powerful halogen light source in the bowl. The links of the chains, which are very elaborate and have a toric shape, come together on the lacquered cabochon fixed to the ceiling. The base of the chandelier is decorated with a small flame surrounded by a palm leaf. The whole forms an elegant and imposing set, perfectly realised by the craftsmen of Lucien Gau, art bronzer since 1860.
