Charming 2-light sconce in polished brass in an elegant, classic style, with two J-shaped arms attached to an elongated piece of gilded metal fixed to the wall, each arm is extended by a flat bell-shaped bowl topped by a white candle-simulating shade, reinforcing the authentic chandelier look of the model. The latter is made entirely of brass, with a superb glossy gold finish.
As the heir to a Parisian bronze workshop that has been in business since the 19th century, Lucien Gau demonstrates year after year the exceptional craftsmanship that has been built up and handed down from generation to generation, both in terms of restoration and conservation, and in the reproduction of light fittings using techniques that are faithful to the period in which they originated.
The collection also includes 2 chandeliers, one 12-light and the other 6-light with the references 22050114 and 22050115.
