Product Description
Calypso is a magnificent wall sconce in classical style, composed of three vertical cylinders assembled like parchment scrolls, the central cylinder, made of opal glass on the inside and satin-finished on the outside, diffuses the light, it is surrounded by the other two cylinders, each of which is decorated with a moulded, gilded brass seal with a vegetal decoration. Note the flower-shaped medallion that decorates the ends of the central scroll.
Lucien Gau is a French specialist in period restoration and conservation. Heir to a 19th-century Parisian bronzer, he offers a vast collection of lighting fixtures meticulously crafted in precious metals and traditional high-flying techniques.
Dimensions: 36cm high, 14cm wide, 9cm from the wall.
