Fanali Veneziani venetian lantern pendant 32cm

A superb tribute to the city of Venice and the lanterns used in the Middle Ages in the city, with this series of 5 Fanali Veneziani suspensions in classic style, from which this 32cm model in Venetian crystal encrusted with gold flakes and finished in gold metal comes. Shaped like a small balloon chandelier, the suspension is made of fluted crystal and evokes a delicate flower with golden accents, with its spherical seed typical of the aesthetics of Venetian chandeliers, and the details that form translucent petals. The suspension is fixed on a metal chain and has a gold metal socket. The Venetian firm of Barovier & Toso, which comes from a long line of master glassmakers dating back to the 14th century, continues the family tradition and know-how and the firm's leading position, while having introduced a modernist dimension and innovative aesthetic to the discipline of Murano glasswork.
