Product Description
This aristocratic Louis XV sconce is richly ornamented in patinated solid bronze, old gold and Bohemian crystal. It consists of a massive bronze base decorated with acanthus leaves. From its basin-shaped base, two arms with double volutes and ornamental motifs extend. Each candelabrum is placed on a small, slightly curved foot, and the basins (cups at the base of each candelabrum) take the form of several leaves separated from each other. Each candlestick also has a small bobeche, which is also decorated. A few tassels in Bohemian crystal add a delightful aesthetic touch to this set. The workmanship is impeccable, with solid sand cast bronze, hand finished and patinated.
