This delicate Louis XV wall sconce is formed by a carved curved wall support, which is extended in a charming spiral movement by two finely worked branches, carrying candlesticks at their ends. The basins, cups placed at the base of the candlesticks, are carved so that their upper face is strictly horizontal, which interrupts the movement of the branches and brings a greater balance to this applies. The execution, of masterly quality, is carried out according to the most traditional methods, in France, in the workshops of Lucien Gau.
