Antique gold patinated bronze floor lamp, tripod with volute arms, cream shade with gold stripes and fringes
This Louis XV floor lamp in old gold bronze is mounted on a tripod and has a curved beige lampshade decorated with gold stripes and fringes. It has a tripod consisting of three branches in double volute based on a central lenticular part. This central part is supported by a grooved base with a double ornament at half height, which ends in a carved hemispherical element. This element supports three soberly carved branches bearing candlesticks. Each candelabra consists of a trumpet-shaped bowl, a striped and flat top and a bobeche decorated with leaves. In addition to the three bulbs that decorate each candlestick, this lamp is also equipped with a support, placed in the centre of the lampshade, that can accommodate a 300W halogen bulb. The use of this optional second light source is useful when strong lighting is required, depending on the use and the space in which this lamp is installed. The whole thing is beautifully executed in a strict Louis XV style. The solid bronze is old gold patinated. There is a similar model on a tripod under the reference 12020232.
Dimensions: height 182cm, diameter 60cm.
Light source: three standard E14 incandescent bulbs, preferably of the frosted halogen type, to which a 300W R7S halogen tube can be added.
