Goccia blown glass drop outdoor floor lamp

Discover the Goccia outdoor floor lamp, a luminous work of art in pure Venetian style. This elegant piece features a delicate blown glass drop with a Baloton crystal finish, suspended from a 2.5 metre metal base with a black and gold patina. The floor lamp is designed to withstand the elements thanks to its IP44 rating.
The focal point of this floor lamp is its glass droplet, blown using the handcrafted Baloton crystal technique, a method emblematic of the art of Murano glassmaking. This unique technique involves blowing hot glass into a metal structure, creating a quilted pattern and distinctive diamond shapes on the outer surface. The result is a semi-transparent texture that evokes a liquid sensation, making each piece unique with slight variations typical of the craft.
The base of the floor lamp is a piece of cast metal, decorated with finely chiselled metal leaves that connect the curved arm to the glass drop at its end. Note the second glass drop at the end of the pole.
Siru is a brilliant blend of art and craft, its fascinating lamps evoking the splendour of a bygone Venice, handmade in the kiln using the ancient Venetian techniques of blowing and colouring molten glass.
