Baloton crystal blown glass lantern Piazza

A timeless Venetian style with this wall fixture comprising a blown Baloton crystal glass lantern and a rusted metal cage from the classic Piazza collection. The classic lantern has a generous, rounded shape and a rusted metal structure consisting of a truncated cone topped by an inflated section at the top. The whole is attached to a spiral arm by a piece that forms a delicate half-open metal flower. The diffuser glass is blown using the Baloton crystal technique. This unique process, emblematic of the art of Murano glassmaking, involves blowing the hot glass directly into a metal structure before it solidifies, creating the quilted effect of the glass and the rhomboid shapes on the outer surface. It's this special process that gives the glass its semi-transparent texture and fluid feel, making each model unique, with the slight variations that are the hallmark of craftsmanship. A beautiful model with crystalline reflections that will look great in an entrance hall, for example.
A brilliant blend of art and craftsmanship, Siru's fascinating light evokes the splendour of an ancient Venice, handmade in the kiln using the ancient Venetian techniques of blowing and colouring molten glass.
The collection also includes another wall lamp with the reference 23060017 and a pendant lamp available in amber baloton with the reference 23060019 and crystal baloton with the reference 23060020.
