Baba transparent blown glass pendant lamp, by Siru

Superb Baba pendant in transparent blown baloton glass and rusted metal cage. Named after the famous Neapolitan pastry, the truncated cone shaped Baba pendant is made of glass blown directly into the metal structure, which traps the glass and creates different volumes. The delicately chiseled metal flower on each side of the pendant adds a cherry to the cake. Baba is suspended from a black metal chain. The Baloton crystal finish of the glass gives the glass an almost liquid texture and a cool ambience, while the Antique Amber finish creates a warmer light.

Siru brilliantly navigates between art and craftsmanship, its fascinating lamps evoking the splendor of a bygone Venice, handcrafted in the kiln using ancient Venetian techniques of blowing and coloring molten glass.
