With his Ginger cordless lamp in light wood, designer Joan Gaspar has achieved an extreme degree of perfection. Perfection in design, with domes that respond to each other, one in wood, the other in metal. Perfection in the mastery of materials, knowing that wood is the perfect ally for intimate lighting, but it is a very complicated material to work with. Perfection also in the precision and extreme softness with which the light is diffused. The perfect, discreet black metal stem allows the light wood disc to echo the light wood dome. This fine wood disc is enhanced by a black metal base that disappears from view. It runs for 5 hours at full power and up to 20 hours at 25% power. It can be fully recharged from the mains in 10 hours.
