Solid bronze candlestick, old gold patina - Lucien Gau - Table lamps

This beautiful Louis XV style candlestick is designed to stand on a table or console. A delicately carved round base continues into a slightly curved foot decorated with acanthus leaves. The base supports six spiral branches with matching ornamentation and is continued at the top by a central candlestick. The basins (cups at the base of the candlesticks) are made of twisted leaves. With a diameter of only 38 cm, this candelabra can be placed on a dining table. Its general shape is exquisite, its execution particularly refined, entirely handcrafted, in solid bronze. A wall sconce with three or five matching lights is available under reference 12020225.
