The model shown on this page is made in antique bronze. It is fitted with clear glass and a removable grille in fine bronze mesh. It is 36cm high. The wall lights in the Essex collection are superbly well made. They consist of a rectangular bronze casing. Inside, the bulb fits into a bronze lamp holder mounted on the rear face. The quality of finish is exemplary: the glass panels are set into the bronze and the luminaire is fastened closed by a traditional spring and wire latch. These wall lights are weatherproof (IP44 standard) and made of corrosion-resistant materials, so are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. With a projection of only 12 to 14cm, these wall lights do not interfere with circulation and can be installed in narrow corridors or stairwells. Essex wall lights are available in two sizes and a choice of two materials: antique bronze or plain zinc. Several models are available in a choice of clear or sand-blasted glass. The Essex Original model has a white-lacquered interior. The Essex Mesh model has a fine bronze mesh which diffuses the light effectively and with elegance. One Caret Squirrel Cage bulb included
