The model shown on this page is made in matt chrome-plated bronze. It is for 230V mains supply. Spreaderlight is a superb collection of small exterior luminaires in cast bronze which can be used as wall lights or mounted at low level as step lights. Their modest dimensions - just 8cm wide and 13cm tall - make them ideal for installation on narrow supports (ends of walls, beams, posts, door frames). These luminaires are particularly useful for highlighting a house number, doorbell or letterbox. As they meet IP43 weatherproofing standards and are made of corrosion-resistant materials, they can withstand the worst of weather. The 12V versions can simplify the electrical installation: if the transformer is situated within the building, the specification for the supply to the exterior installation may be less demanding (check the legislation that applies where you live). Fixed to a wall at high or low level, these Spreaderlight luminaires are perfect for lighting a path, exterior steps, a patio or balcony. With a projection of only 8.6cm, they do not interfere with circulation. These exterior wall/step lights are available in polished bronze 11060199 (very sophisticated and suitable for the most classically-styled of homes), foundry-finish antique bronze 11062000 (wonderfully rustic) and matt chrome-plated bronze (elegant and contemporary). Fitted with 20-25W bulbs, these small luminaires give a good quality of light directed downwards to avoid glare.
