Wall lamp 25cm Zenith Acid yellow, by RADAR

A delightful little Zenith Acid 25cm wall sconce in fluorescent glass, here in yellow. The wall light features a small transparent glass dome in a youthful acidic shade, with a matt black lacquered metal wall bracket and lampholder, and a bare bulb in the centre. The reflector is made in the European Union using the traditional method of thermoforming glass, a technique in which glass is shaped by exposing it to very high heat in special ovens, making it flexible and malleable. Radar chooses glass as its material of choice to develop vibrant finishes and aesthetics that are rich in texture and innovative. The luminaire was designed by Bastien Taillard, a Frenchman from a creative family who trained in Paris, Milan and on his many travels before founding Radar in 2016 with Italian Francesca Bertini. The brand is quickly making a name for itself with a collection of lamps handmade by expert craftsmen in the 4 corners of Europe.
