A lovely little Zenith Acid 25cm wall sconce in fluorescent glass, here in red. The wall light has a small dome of transparent glass tinted a deep red, with a wall bracket and a matt black lacquered metal lampholder with a bare bulb in the centre. The reflector is made in the European Union using the traditional process of thermoforming, a technique in which glass is formed by exposing it to very high heat in special ovens, making it flexible and malleable. Radar chooses glass as its material of choice to develop vibrant finishes and aesthetics that are rich in texture and innovative. The luminaire was designed by Bastien Taillard, a Frenchman from a creative family who trained in Paris, Milan and on his many travels before founding Radar in 2016 with Italian Francesca Bertini.
