Double dome wall light in gilded glass Zénith
Contemporary glass wall light, mirror effect - RADAR - Wall lights
A hypnotic effect is created by the Zenith wall light, which combines a glass dome format with a gold finish to create a contemporary design. The wall light consists of a large dome into which a second, smaller dome is fitted, both made using the artisanal process of thermoformed glass, a technique in which glass is shaped by exposing it to very high heat in special ovens, making it flexible and malleable. The lampshade is in the form of a flared dome with a superb mirrored gold finish that gives it an astral air and strongly reflects the light. The bulb is placed in the centre of the luminaire, which in turn is fixed to the wall with a black lacquered metal wall bracket. Radar has chosen glass as its material of choice, developing finishes and vibrant aesthetics that are rich in texture and innovative. The luminaire was designed by Bastien Taillard, a Frenchman from a creative family who trained in Paris, Milan and on his many travels before founding Radar in 2016 with Italian Francesca Bertini. The brand is quickly making a name for itself with a collection of lamps handcrafted by expert artisans in the 4 corners of Europe. The Zenith collection also includes a pendant lamp available in 70cm or 40cm under the reference 23060001, a table lamp under the reference 23060004, the Zenith Mirage silver pendant lamp in 50cm or 70cm under the reference 23060011, a suspension lamp under the reference 23060013, a Zenith Acid pendant lamp available in yellow or red under the references 23060014 and 23060015, and finally the Zenith Fractale gold or silver pendant lamp in 40cm or 70cm under the references 23060005 and 23060007.
