Maya brass Art Deco floor lamp
Architectural gold and silver floor lamp with white opal glass bowl - Lucien Gau - Floor lamps
The Maya floor lamp in glass, gold and silver brass is the perfect illustration of the pre-Columbian architectural inspiration of the Art Deco style. The floor lamp has a round base consisting of a large chrome-plated metal disc and two small gold-plated brass discs that appear to form a small pyramid on which the right foot stands. The large flared white glass shade, which directs the light towards the ceiling, rests on a small inverted pyramid of golden metal discs. The combination of white and gold and the pure aesthetics make this model a chic must-have.
Lucien Gau, the French specialist in period restoration and conservation, is the heir of a 19th century Parisian bronze smith and offers a vast collection of lamps meticulously crafted in precious metals and traditional techniques.
This model is also available as a wall sconce under the reference 22050091.
Dimensions: 182cm high, 42cm diameter.
The light source is a 250W DE halogen bulb or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.
