Goccia amber blown glass drop outdoor wall lamp

A delicate, crystalline drop of water in blown glass with an amber-coloured Baloton finish around a stainless steel structure: this is the splendid, airy Goccia outdoor wall light, in perfect Venetian style, with IP44 protection. This model, which evokes the lightness and fluidity of water, has a torsionally-mounted stainless steel cage around which swells the glass diffuser blown using the Baloton crystal technique. This unique process, emblematic of the art of Murano glassmaking, involves blowing hot glass directly into a metal structure before it solidifies, creating a quilted effect and rhomboid shapes on the outer surface. It is this particular process that gives the glass its semi-transparent texture and liquid feel, making each model unique, with the slight variations that are the hallmark of craftsmanship. The drop is mounted on a metal bell and swan-neck arm and connected to a rectangular wall bracket. The amber finish of the glass adds warmth to the diffused light and the Baloton crystal creates a kaleidoscope of light projected onto the wall.
Siru is a brilliant blend of art and craftsmanship. Its fascinating lights, which recall the splendour of a bygone Venice, are handmade in the kiln using the ancient Venetian techniques of blowing and colouring molten glass.
