Classic Venetian lantern outdoor wall light

The Classic outdoor wall light is a real eye-catcher, with its traditional Venetian lantern look in blown glass with an amber Baloton finish, rusty metal bracket and IP44 rating. The model has a long wall bracket to which a curved arm is attached and the diffuser is a magnificent round volume of glass blown using the Baloton crystal technique. This unique process, emblematic of the art of Murano glassmaking, involves blowing hot glass directly into a metal structure before it solidifies, creating a quilted effect and rhomboid shapes on the outer surface. It is this particular process that gives the glass its semi-transparent texture and fluid feel, making each model unique, with the slight variations that are the hallmark of craftsmanship. The amber colour of the glass adds warmth to the light it diffuses, making Classic the perfect model for illuminating an entrance or patio, thanks to its IP44 rating, which guarantees resistance to the elements.
Siru is a brilliant blend of art and craftsmanship: its fascinating lamps, which recall the splendour of a bygone Venice, are handmade in the kiln using the ancient Venetian techniques of blowing and colouring molten glass.
