Venetian crystal sconce with transparent crystal spheres and white cylindrical shades
The classic Tangeri collection plays with the codes of the traditional Venetian chandelier, with its gilded metal arms covered with Venetian crystal, its white cylindrical shades and its transparent spheres. The wall lamp is composed of a wall support that takes up the aesthetics of the threading, from which the two swan neck arms in transparent crystal emerge, topped by metal rods with a galvanised gold finish and topped by white cotton shades. Delicately chiselled spiral stems that inspire a plant-like atmosphere emerge from the sides of the arms of the wall lamp, and the shaft is decorated with a pointed seed. Note the two spheres placed under the shades, made of transparent crystal, and worked in such a way as to give a texture that gives this spiral effect to the surface of the crystal. The luminaire is a design by Barovier & Toso, which comes from a long line of master glassmakers dating back to the 14th century, and perpetuates the family tradition and know-how as well as the firm's leading position, while having introduced a modernist dimension and an innovative aesthetic into the discipline of Murano glasswork.
