Glass wall lamp with plant and floral motif and swan neck arm

Product Description

The 4607 sconce takes up an art nouveau style motif, that of the plant, floral evocation, with its swan neck arms, entirely in Venetian crystal, its metal details in polished chrome, and its bell-shaped pendants. The sconce, made entirely of clear crystal, has two swan neck arms, each with a flower corolla basin that seems to open to accommodate the candle-like bulb. The sconce's threading is richly decorated with plant motifs, topped with flowers and large leaves that seem to spring from either side of the arms, and the shaft is decorated with both a seed and a large tassel, both in the shape of a budding flower. Note every detail of the luminaire's texture, or the finely chiselled bell tassels, and the polished chrome finish metal candle covers. Barovier & Toso, descended from a long line of master glassmakers dating back to the 14th century, perpetuates the family's tradition and expertise, while introducing a modernist dimension and innovative aesthetic to the discipline of Murano glasswork.
