Saint Germain purple crystal chandelier with black and gold accents 2 lights, by Barovier&Toso

There is something both classic and contemporary about the design of the chandeliers in the Saint Germain series, in this case the small 2-light chandelier in violet and transparent Venetian crystal and black and gold shades. The model is equipped with two arms on either side of a central metal tube dressed in purple crystal, as are the arms. Each arm has a black cylindrical shade on the front and a gold cylindrical shade on the back, which are topped by a sheath and a stylised bowl-shaped basin in clear crystal. The model is fitted with a piton cover also in purple crystal. Note the detail of the crystal sphere, the seed that marks the base of the candlestick threading, made using the 'oro sommerso' technique. Entirely handmade, the model is an example of the high quality of the work of the master glassmakers of Barovier & Toso, whose international reputation is rooted in the perpetuation of artisanal traditions since the 13th century.

The model is also available in 3, 5 and 7-light versions in the ordering options at the bottom of this page, and also exists in gold version in 7, 5 or 3 lights under the reference 21070150, and in blue version in 7,5 or 3 lights, under the reference 21070157. Dimensions: all models are 79cm high. The shades are 25cm in diameter and 19cm high. Model 2 is 90cm long and 25cm wide, for 9kg, model 3 lights is 90cm diameter for 10kg. The 5 light model is 108cm in diameter for 13kg. The 7 light model is 133cm in diameter, for 16kg.

The light source comes from 2, 3, 5 or 7 dimmable E14 bulbs of 60W max each, or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.
