The term Bissa, the Venetian word for snake, is perfect for the stunning 20-light Bissa Boba chandelier, which borrows from the classic Venetian chandelier style and adds an undeniably contemporary touch, with its amethyst-coloured Venetian crystal on a chrome metal structure. The model is made up of crystal tube arms that snake from the stringing, topped by domed basins that house chrome metal sheaths. Some of the arms snake upwards, evoking the snake trainers who enchant them with their flutes, creating a hypnotic and magical atmosphere, underlined by the amethyst colour of the crystal. The chandelier is mounted on a vertical tube in polished chrome. The harmonious curves and impeccable workmanship of the crystal are the hallmark of the Venetian firm of Barovier & Toso, born of the merger of two families with a centuries-long history in the Murano glass industry and now the undisputed masters of their craft.
