Victor 2-light silver wall lamp
Neo Brutalist wall lamp in solid nickel bronze and white conical shades - Objet insolite - Wall lights
Elegant 2-light Victor wall lamp in silver, a neo-brutalist style in solid bronze with a satin nickel finish and white conical shades. The model is composed of a round wall bracket, topped by a ball from which the two curved arms of the wall lamp start, directing the two pretty conical shades of off-white chintz towards the ceiling. Note the diamond engraved on the wall support, or the superb bronze nickel finish, a silver finish obtained by polishing the bronze to create a contrast between the shiny edges and the natural hollows of the metal, which are left matt, then magnified by a fine layer of nickel applied by electrolysis (nickel is preferred to silver because it tends to oxidise quickly). Objet Insolite is a French company that has been creating lighting fixtures in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, a distinction granted by the French government that recognises French companies with exceptional craft and industrial production.
