Fragile is a delicate stack of stone, a classic wall lamp with a mineral character that draws its strength from the bronze in which it is made. The particular texture of the material which reinforces the organic character of the lamp is the result of an industrial-inspired molding technique, which makes each model a unique luminaire. The arm is topped by a slightly flared square shade in off-white taffeta. The satin nickel bronze finish of the model you see here is achieved by coating the bronze with a thin, even layer of nickel, preferred over silver for its resistance to oxidation, all after a bronze polishing operation. The result is a color very close to silver. Objet Insolite is a French house that has been creating lighting in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and which benefits from the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label, a distinction granted by the state which recognizes French companies for excellent artisanal and industrial production.
By default this luminaire is delivered with the lampshade offered in this image, the model is available in the different colors of the color chart visible in the secondary photo, choice to be specified in the special information of your order form.
The model is available in a black patinated bronze finish under the reference 20070244 and in gold under the reference 20070246.
Dimensions: lampshade 21cm in length and 16cm in height, 34cm in total height and 12.5cm protruding from the wall.
The light source comes from an E27 bulb of 100W max or LED equivalent to be purchased separately.
