The Kavala table lamp combines a sculptural terracotta base wrapped in abaca rope with a wide natural linen cylindrical shade, a composition that highlights the craftsmanship of botanical fibers and raw materials. The body features a succession of undulating volumes entirely covered in a tight weave of abaca—a natural fiber derived from a wild banana tree, commonly used in craftsmanship for its strength and irregular texture. The piece rests on a stable pedestal, while a finial also wrapped in rope discreetly extends the finish. Crafted from natural linen, the cylindrical shade diffuses a soft, homogeneous light. Thanks to its generous dimensions, this lamp will serve as a centerpiece in your living room.
