Clara plant-inspired table lamp with nickel finish

Let yourself be charmed by the lovely Clara table lamp with its long base in solid silver bronze and its small conical shade in off-white chintz. The model has a pear-shaped base with a delicate leaf on top, which extends vertically and is crowned by a beautiful shade in off-white chintz. The base is made of solid bronze using industrial casting techniques that preserve the rough and crude dimension of the metal while magnifying it with a nickel finish, a silver finish obtained by polishing the bronze to create a contrast between the shiny edges and the natural hollows of the metal, which are left matt, and then covered with a thin layer of nickel applied by electrolysis (nickel is preferred to silver because it tends to oxidise quickly). Objet Insolite is a French company that has been creating lighting fixtures in its Normandy workshops since 1981, and has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, a distinction granted by the French government that recognises French companies with exceptional craft and industrial production.

The model is also available in patina bronze and gold bronze under the references 22070203 and 22070205.
