Perseus is a beautiful contemporary exploration of the Venetian style, an asymmetrical 15-light pendant with its different sizes of Venetian crystal balls in shades of brown, cognac, white and grey, and touches of polished chrome, all illuminated by integrated LEDs. The pendant is composed of a multitude of volumes, sometimes spherical, oval, elongated, or tulip-shaped, in Venetian crystal, whose surface is worked to render different textures, which are organised around asymmetrical arms oriented in different directions from a central point. The colours alternate between cognac and brown, transparent and white or grey, painting a shimmering, almost golden atmosphere. The metal tube that attaches the luminaire to the ceiling has a polished chrome finish. The fusion of the Barovier and Toso family glassworks, whose names have been historically linked to the working and trading of Murano glass since the 14th century, gives rise to the company that bears their name, and is synonymous with the best quality of Murano glass work.
