Very large outdoor wall light in old zinc Pétrole, by Lum’Art

Outdoor oil lamp in metal and frosted glass

Product Description

The Pétrole wall lamp is a very large model, directly inspired by the paraffin lamps used in the stables of the 19th century, with its old zinc-plated metal body and frosted glass tube. Pétrole consists of a rectangular body, glazed on the sides, with a glass door on the front. The upper part of the lamp is curved and has a series of horizontal slits, evoking the chimney function of this part of the lamps of the time, which emitted gases when burning petroleum. The bulb is housed in a frosted glass tube inside the lantern, and a disc-shaped reflector is fitted in the base of the lamp. The antique zinc finish is achieved using a traditional metalworking process, so the colour is likely to evolve over time. This wall light is IP23 rated.

The model is available in a small size with a patinated brass finish under the reference 24050047, a large size with a verdigris finish under the reference 24050048 and an XXL size with a patinated brass finish under the reference 24050050. The model can be made in any of the finishes shown in the secondary photos opposite, but the price may vary depending on the finish. Please contact us for further information.

Dimensions: 45cm high, 29cm wide, 20cm protruding from the wall.

The light source is a 60W max E27 bulb or LED equivalent, to be purchased separately.
