The Wooden Lamp lives up to its name with a natural wood cube base to which an adjustable aluminium spotlight is attached. The cube-shaped base is made of solid wood with vertical grooves running through it. The wood is left in its natural state to develop a patina over time. A small adjustable cylindrical aluminium spotlight is attached to the cube, contrasting with the wood. Its small size makes it ideal for library lighting. This model is the ideal spotlight to highlight a work of art or an architectural detail. Designed by Christophe Gevers in 1974.
The Belgian company Axis71, which has been in business since the 1970s, offers an eclectic contemporary collection in metal.
